Open the call for abstracts for the new odor conference of the A&WMA

   The Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA) is announcing its second specialty conference on odor science, scheduled for May 12-14, 2026. The event will be held at the Radisson Blu Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota. This conference will cover a broad spectrum of odor-related topics including odor science, chemical forensics and source identification, field assessment and electronic sensing methods, odor sampling techniques, odor policy and regulation, modeling, control and mitigation strategies, as well as community impacts and best practices.

   Interested presenters are encouraged to submit abstracts by November 14, 2025. Authors are advised to review the comprehensive Call for Abstracts document available on the conference website before completing their submissions. This ensures alignment with the conference themes and enhances the chance of acceptance.

    Building on the success of the well-attended May 2024 Odor Management Conference in Toronto and previous A&WMA odor webinars, this upcoming conference aims to deepen the knowledge exchange on both national and international levels. The program includes a diverse range of activities such as a pre-conference webinar, a technical tour, a tabletop exhibition, and a networking reception, providing ample opportunities for learning and professional networking.
