La Conferencia de Olores Odora2024 organizada por este sitio web tendrá lugar los días 5 y 6 de noviembre de 2024 en Bilbao (España). Tras el éxito de los eventos anteriores, el comité organizador está entusiasmado con la celebración de esta conferencia sobre olores y está deseando darle la bienvenida en el Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC) los días 5 y 6 de noviembre 2024.

    El Congreso de Internacional de Olores en el Medio Ambiente 2025 se llevará a cabo los días 9 y 10 de abril de 2025 en Santiago, Chile. Este evento, OLORES25, está organizado por la Asociación AMIGO, con la colaboración del sitio web Olores.org y patrocinado por el Ministerio de Medio Ambiente de Chile. Este evento tendrá lugar en el auditorio de la UNAB Casona de Las Condes, en Santiago, Chile.

   On 16 September 2026, from 14:00 to 16:00 (online), we will host a free webinar dedicated to a topic that is of growing interest worldwide: the validation of odour dispersion models using the grid method defined in EN 16841‑1.

   Consultants run odour dispersion models around the world, but because odour concentration is difficult to measure reliably in ambient air, there is no practical way to know whether the model predictions are right or wrong. With the approach developed and applied in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, along the last over 40 years, it is possible to check the performance of a model and verify whether an odour dispersion assessment has been done correctly against field measurements.
