Lagrangian

The Lagrangian dispersion model mathematically follows the pollution plume parcels  movement in the atmosphere and they model the motion of the parcels as a random walk process. The Lagrangian model then calculates the air pollution dispersion by computing the statistics of the trajectories of a large number of the pollution plume parcels.This is the most commonly used model for odour modelling.
