sesion04 diaz02   PrOlor is the first commercial software application in the world that is able to forecast an odor incident two days beforehand by using advanced dispersion modeling and odor measurements at the source.

   PrOlor tool was used to forecast odor incidents during 10 months in a rendering plant. The results are shown in this article.

mariadelcarmengutierrez 3   Biofiltration is the most widely used technique for eliminating odours in waste treatment plants (WTP). Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) are among the odorous compounds emitted by WTP, and serve as variables to measure odour emissions depending on the type of aeration process used.

   In this work, the performance and efficiency of an industrial-scale biofilter was assessed where composting was the main source of VOCs and odour emissions.
