Where to stay during the 2021IWA Odours Conference?

cartelhotel.jpg   We would like to welcome all registered attendees to the 2021 IWA Odours Conference on 26 and 27 of October in Bilbao, Spain. For all those who have began organizing their trip and are currently looking for accommodation, the event’s organizers have several recommendations for places to stay the city of Bilbao.

The next 9th IWA Odour and VOC/ Air Emissions Conference will be held at the Palacio Euskalduna Jauregia, located in the Abandoibarra Avenue, next to the Euskalduna Square, in Bilbao, Spain. In other occasions, we have looked for a hotel in order to have an official place to meet. This time, negotiations with hotels did not succeed, neither we were able to find a suitable hotel for our attendees. That is why we regret to say that this time there are not official hotels for staying recommended by the organization. We apologize for that.

Due to it's centric and accessible, it is not necessary to stay in close proximity to the conference venue. Bilbao is a small city and everything is within walking distance. If you are not up for a walk, Bilbao has excellent transport services. You can avail of the tram, the bus and the metro to make your way around. Bilbao has become a city of services, with a great variety of tourism activities and sites, and many hotels. Thanks to the excellent public transport system, mobility around the city is very comfortable and easy.

On the other hand, Bilbao has grown in popularity as a tourist destination, and so there is a wide variety of hotels all over the city. These vary in price, stars, proximity to the conference, etc. So the choice is yours! The organization has no agreement with any specific hotel, however we do recommend you to book as soon as possible. In any case, the location of the conference and the events surrounding it can be seen marked below:
